The Infiniti Q30 premium hatchback has made a comeback in two official images, this time providing a first glimpse of the interior cabin.
Those with a keen eye will immediately notice that many of the buttons have been borrowed from the Mercedes-Benz A-Class upon which the Q30 will be based, just like the QX30 crossover will be essentially a GLA. Infiniti mentions they have elaborated a “premium modern ambiance” by using carefully selected materials, including a Dinamica suede-like material sourced from Italy.
Details regarding the engine lineup have not been provided so far by Infiniti, but word on the street says it will use a 2.0-liter turbo gasoline engine along with 1.5- and 2.2-liter turbodiesels borrowed from its Mercedes counterpart.
A full reveal is set for September 15 at the Frankfurt Motor Show before the model enters production at Nissan's factory in Sunderland, UK. At the same venue, the workers will put together the QX30 which will be out shortly after the hatchback.
