Very old used M35!!!

I also recharged the AC by myself in 2016 spring. Now, 2025, the AC is still good!!!

Again, I'm so happy that my current 8 year old car is still very fun and reliable and really don't need to buy any new car now, as the living cost in USA increase insanely which is really not good for some people like me who are semi-retired now!!!

I admit the living cost in USA currently is way more than what I expected 3 years ago!!!

If I say MIT or Stanford recent computer engineering graduates CANNOT find any job now, will you believe me??? (I think Taiwanese are so lucky now!!!)

(I also have a feeling that the living cost will continue to increase this year and the next year or even more, thanks to Trump!!)

PS: I paid 64.5KUSD + tax for my current 2017 USED Lexus in 2017 winter.
(The original MSRP was 86KUSD+tax!!!) Now, 2025, after about 8 years and over 60K miles, it still asks for around 50KUSD in used car market!!!
I'm so happy I bought my current used Lexus in 2017. If you have the money, please give yourself a chance to enjoy these very fun, reliable and wonderful Japanese performance cars...

Right now, 2024 used Z Nismo only asks for about 55KUSD. The original MSRP was 66KUSD.

Currently, 2020 used 370Z Nismo still asks for about 40K!!!

Believe it or not... this Z Nismo will be as fun as current M2!!!

2024 Z Nismo

(The owner of this VW dealer's car was a very old RX350. He also said he liked my Lexus a lot and wanted to buy my Lexus!!! I said "NO WAY except you give me 80KUSD!!!")
Actually there is one problem on my daughter's M35X which is the paint. The paint is seriously faded due to California sun!!!

The thing becomes a little interesting is the paint of my son's stolen 2007 G35S didn't faded but my daughter's 2010 M35X seriously faded. Not sure why??? I usually washed both cars 2-3 times a year and waxed both once every 1-2 years.(of course, once my children took over both cars, they never washed or waxed both cars!!!)

However, I always washed G35S first and then M35X and used the same bucket of water with very little car wash detergent!!! (If I'd use more detergent, I might had have to washed both cars longer!!! So... Sorry, I'm a little lazy!!! If I had known this problem, I would haven't used the same bucket!!!)

If I remember right, I think M35X should has Infiniti's new technology "Scratch Shield Paint" but G35S doesn't. Now, so many years later. It proves "Scratch Shield Paint" is NOT very useful!!! (Like many things in the past, new does NOT always mean better!!! )

When buying these wonderful Japanese performance or premium cars, I think one thing you have to remember is BELIEVE YOUESELF, NOT ON MEDIA!!!

In 2016, many people said RCF was too heavy. Now, the latest M2 is smaller than RCF but weights about as heavy as RCF!!!

I calculated the ride frequencies of RCF and M4 and both were about the same which was a bit higher than the latest Civic Type R!!! RCF suspension is NOT softer but more comfortable!!!
Believe it or not...

My wife told me that her colleague driving an Audi, had been lurking her Lexus and Infiniti for a long time!!! My wife's colleague also said if my wife wanted to sell her Lexus or Infiniti, her colleague would buy it???
Now, I really wonder why people keep saying Japanese cars are BORING??? (I was also fooled by those stupid comments for so many years!!! )

Last 2 weeks I travelled to America East, as my daughter moved to East to continue her PhD. So, I rented a Sentra!!! Yes, it's a cheap Sentra. However, this little Nissan economy car was actually NOT boring at all. Of course, my GSF or 911 is better but you still could get some fun in this little car!!! (I just hope it could get a little bigger tires!!!)

Some people may think the roads in USA are wide and straight.

Actually, not really. In the East, there are still some roads like this, especially for those mountain states...

So, including me, I think the driving skills of the most of the people on the roads are WAY inferior to the capabilities of the cars!!!

(Now, I finally understand why my sister's husband is still driving a Civic or Fit, even thought he makes more money than I do!!!)
The below is the exact Sentra I rented last week which was the cheapest Sentra, Sentra S, not SV...

Actually, the below is the goal of this trip, not the car... (If I'd known I had to drive a lot of narrow mountain roads, I would have rented a car with some decent tires!!! )
