My wife M35X battery is still factory battery(over 9 year old now) and still strong. My wife drives M 6-7 days a week but most of trips are 5-8km(only local).
About three years ago Infiniti dealer already said my wife's M battery was not good... (But now M's battery is still very good. The starter still runs very quickly when start up.)
Conclusion : I really should NOT replace my factory battery six years ago...
