The update takes less than 2 minutes in my case. Surprisingly, updating my EX1 firware is a piece of cake.
My EX1 is capable of taking 100-150 photo with fully charged battery regardless of using genuine samsung battery or third-party battery. I don't know why my EX1 seems not lasting as others but I have 4 batteries so battery life is not an issue for me.
So far I am quite happy with my EX1 except it lacks sharpness I am looking for. Sometimes I even doubt people would post-process their EX1 pictures and then upload to Mobile01 because my EX1 can not produce such sharp image.
The greatest thing EX1 has brought to my life is that my wife and my mother in law are happyly taking picture of my twin sons without flash indoors. The LCD is amazing, AMOLED is superb in this fild afterall.
In sum, I think EX1 is a great investment for DC.
