I am glad to discuss about this with you.
At first, I should sorry for my poor English and it maybe a littile confused for you to understand ,though I haven't practiced it for several years.
Why should we Chinese use an alphabetical writing system?
We have our own philosophy which continues at least 4000 years and beautiful Chinese characters to write .There are big cultural differences between eastern Asian and western Europe. We Chinese could learn English and western culture, why can’t Easterners learn Chinese culture to feel the beauty and Philosophy inside it.
I thought it is not the Chinese writing system killed the creativeness but the Chinese old fashioned ( I haven‘t found a suitable adjective to describe it ）educational way killed it. The old fashioned Chinese education method can’t follow the changes of Time. We may find the answer and solution in western educational way and learn from it instead of blaming for Chinese writing system.
At last, I want to say: Chinese may can’t understand the essence of beauty in English, on the contrary, you cant understand deep meaning in chinese,thus we should learn from each other.
