The initial role of PB is just a supplement to BB not a stand alone device. So they invent the bridge mode. One reason for this is because BB server structure is one user one device. The server side can't handle multiple device for one user.
That really sucks for non BB user. Even for BB user, I dont think its attractive solution at all. what a brainless decision maker.
