Which slingbox do you get depends what do you have on your cable service in TW.
if you only has standard cable, you need to get either Slingbox Classic or HD PRo. Because these are the models come with F connector and build in Tuner. (this is what I have installed in TW since 2005)
If you have HD cable or even a Tivo box at home, suggest you get the HD Pro because the video quality is much better and you can use the most updated apps.
From iPAD, depends on what you have as your slingbox, you may need different players:
SlingPlayer Mobile v 1.2 - only works for Slingbox Classic, pro, tuner, AV. but you may not find it on the iTune store anymore. you may need to JB your ipad and google it.
SlingPlayer Mobile v.21. - Current version and works with Slingbox Solo and Pro-HD only.
For me, I used Slingplayer v1.2 on iPad and iphone. they works fine to me and I used it almost everyday to watch the TW news and MLB games. :)
