至於看影片, 最好的狀況是應該檔案丟到機器裡, 用通用型的player就直接播放, 而不是還需要一些轉檔的過程. 無論是iPhone與iPod, 對影片的規格都有嚴格的規範, 也因為如此, 網路上才有一大堆converter給iPhone與iPod使用者使用, 因為QuickTime Pro或iTunes轉影片實在慢又品質差, 轉影片的麻煩從以前iPod 五代的Video開始其實一直都存在.
至於看Youtube, 其實在iPhone上是一隻程式吧!? 只不過是一出廠就有這支程式, 像是一些比較新的機器, 像是鑽石機, 也都有Youtube的程式可以看Youtube, 這一點似乎並沒有什麼特別的, 如果要"直接"看Youtube, 至少也要能夠播放flash, 但是iPhone目前對此還無法播放 (據說Adobe已經開發中, 不過wm系統上的flash lite 3 for developer+Opera已經可以直接在網頁跑flash了)

In fact, most PDA can do a good job w/ GPS navigation. Compare to PNA model, PDA can install what many GPS software on the same units, and use MS Live Search and Google map to search for POI.

iphone導航是四不像但是wm pda的可不是喔，現在很多車機都是從wm pda慢慢發展來的，
甚至有些系統也是用wm系統。
iphone用的根本不是什麼導航軟體只是google map iphone版的東西，
這玩意隨便一台pda手機都可以用，但是應該很少人會這個導航，
因為重點是沒網路就沒地圖，用來查詢是不錯的選擇，

youtube的部分大部分的手機也都是另外透過一個軟體就可撥方影片的部分，
iphone也不例外，不過真正要再browser上可以播放youtube的，
目前我只看過wm上的一個browser軟體叫skyfire。
apple在os的開發上真的沒話說，穩定、美觀、流暢都一直是他的代名詞，
ms大概是相反，當！、醜！、頓！，但是在作業平台的世界裡軟體才是王道，
就好像遊樂器主機般的，沒遊戲主機再強也沒用。
iphone的軟體還是屬於嬰兒時期吧，不過我覺得他因為 app store與開放sdk，
在軟體的拓展應該會蠻快的，我們拭目以待。
最後說到主題，建議01開個蘋果電話版就好了@@。

In my opinion, I don't think WM 5/6
mobile phone does a good job on GPS navigation. We all know the WM
phones' limitations are: tiny screen,
sound volume of driving guidance is too small, difficult to operate it while
you're driving. Similarly, I don't believe that Iphone is a reliable GPS
navigator either. Therefore I bought a Garmin 660 recently. Function well
without any complaints, definitely the POI is included.
But I gotta say; iphone is better than my imaginations.
Dell Axim x51v is a high performance WM PDA, it is unfair to compare
either with iphone or WM phone

Not to mention the PDA only x51v (3.7" VGA) and HP4700 (4"VGA), or the upcoming PDA phone SE X1 (3"WVGA) and HTC HD (3.8" WVGA). Already released model are :
1. Dopod 900 (3.6" VGA)
2. Toshiba G900 (3" WVGA)
3. HTC Advantage (5" VGA)
Sound volume is not low at all. For me, I can even A2DP the GPS guidance (and playing MP3 at the background) to my Bluetooth car unit (JVC BT-1), which is not possible w/ the shitty iPhone bluetooth profile.
I am not sure about the all in one unit. But latest Garmin Mobile XT v5 for WM can do routing base on realtime traffic, and built-in Google search via 3G/Edge which are the killer features for WM GPS navigation.
No one sure if Tomtom for iPhone will be release because Apple current SDK prohibit that.
Unfair? I take x51v to compare to iPhone because you unfairly judge Tytn II's small screen w/ iPhone.
