There is no unlocked iPhone 6. I spoke with apple and tmobile about the contract free tmobile phone. In apple they told to ask tmobile person. Then I called tmobile CS. They told it will be locked for 45days and then according to our request they will unlock it.
So no unlock iPhone 6 is available now in US.

I just called and asked an Apple agent that question. She said as of now there is not an unlocked iPhone 6. The without contract one is locked on to T-Mobile. I need an unlocked phone, so guess I'll just keep my iPhone 5.

During the last 3 releases, the iPhones were not sold unlocked without contract on the first day. It was several weeks before you could purchase them without contract. But, If you look at apples site, they do show a contract-free iPhone from T-Mobile. This doesn't say unlocked. Hope this helps.
