像我在美國當學生, 仔細的算過之後還是覺得從台灣帶中華電的iPhone比較聰明
前些日子才做過一張分析圖表比較過中華電跟AT&T的比較, 搭配我的使用習慣
平常日上課學校有WiFi~走到哪上到哪, 回家之後也有WiFi, 所以幾乎用不到3G上網
以養一隻iPhone 3GS 32GB+月租來算
選用中華電信1349方案養兩年下來差不多花個三萬六台幣,
選用AT&T 450mins+ Unlimit Data兩年花下來要七萬三台幣(含稅)
而且AT&T的網路功能是綁約的, 想移都移不掉, 重點是還是鎖機的
所以想想還是從台灣帶一隻過來插T-Mobile的卡用比較划算~

Like what cklee says, if iPhone is not the only option, and you don't feel like paying more for your data, then you are better off getting a T-Mobile compatible phone.
Or, what about switching to Sprint when the HTC EVO 4G comes out? Do you have Sprint WiMAX in your area? If I were you, I'd get HTC EVO 4G, which is almost the same hardware as the HD2, but it's running Android. But I hear Sprint sucks though.
