一代也有刺殺的畫面（用袖口刀一點感覺都沒有），刺殺任務也有，但是刺客的"味道"少了許多，感覺像是個純動作類的遊戲，因為它叫「刺客教條」，不是「英雄教條」，不再是3D確實讓人很失望......
如果只堅持在是不是「3D遊戲」這個點的話，那這款遊戲確實是退步的一款遊戲；但如果從「整體遊戲性」來看，它是一款進步的遊戲，符合了「刺客教條」的標準、有「刺客」的味道、真正有「刺殺」的動作！！(但變成2.5D的橫向還是要扣一些分數)
這對Ubisoft是一個開始，他們說未來會更加重視這個平台：

不能跟她跑同路線，我上面有說明囉!!
一定要走屋頂，盡可能的走最上面的路徑，最後要抵達屋頂，而Rogue(女刺客)會破門，Ezio不會，所以她都走一般的路徑到達目地的，加油
我也是重玩好幾次才過的
我目前已經把劇情都破關了！（可是Sync才68%......所以還有要努力的目標
）
現在剩下：
（１）10個「挑戰模式」中的7個要挑戰（前面三個已破）
（２）解開所有的刺殺記錄
（３）還要把Ezio的招式全部學會
所以一定要回去把每一關都重新再玩一次，才會有足夠的點數升級Ezio的招式。而我的目標是每一關都拿滿分１００分
