I signed contract with AT&T last year, and they told me that they will finish 3G network establishment by Oct 2007. This is just a small town in southeast.

I had many 3G phones, but most of them had small screens that I don't bother use it for web, even though it's faster. I also had window's device, but the browser was horrible, despite adequate screen size.
I remember Google recently just published a data saying most of their mobile searchs were iPhone users.
For me, iPhone was the first phone I really use it for web browsing on the road. No doubt a 3G version well be even better, but even now, I think it's better than almost all 3G phones for web browsing.
