Let me explain the situation with the function of the anchor.
The anchor on Rado watches is pressed into the dial. It has no direct contact with the movement. It indicates that there is a mechanical, automatic movement in this watch.
The anchor becomes somewhat sluggish over time due to the constant movement, which is quite normal. This indicates that the movement has already been installed in the case
for a while and probably needs a complete overhaul in a short time.
However, the age of the watch is much more reliable. We recommend a complete service every 5-7 years. At the same time all seals are replaced to keep the watch waterproof.
To check when a service is necessary, we recommend that you contact a Rado Service Centre. Only a qualified watchmaker can determine whether service is necessary or not
