Britax seats have quite a following and I can’t comment on whether one seat is safer than another–all carseats pass the FMVSS 213 requirements. The best way to compare them is to compare features. Both carseats have energy management systems (e.g., EPP/EPS foam or air cushions), deluxe push-on LATCH connectors, and smooth pull harness adjusters. The Britax seats can be tethered rear-facing, but the Pria fits tiny babies really well because of the TinyFit system. If you can, try out both seats in your car (like at BRU) and try your child in the seats. One may fit better than another and fit is what it’s all about!
