英文放牛班 - as was the man 是倒裝句?

請問以下句子中

1. "that girl was wrong, too, as was the man she was with" 翻譯成
"那女孩也是像與她在一起的那個男的一樣不對"
或是
"那女孩也是不對, 與她在一起的那個男的也一樣"
上面那一個才是比較貼切?

2. "as was the man she was with" 看起來是倒裝句, 可是這個句子為什麼要倒裝呢?
