我朋友若干年前常在 LA 過境時, Taxi 去 UCLA capus ( ?? ) 那區有 Circus city etc. 可以逛 ( 據說只 30min 內車程 ) , 但事隔多時, 已不確定.
查了一下 circuitcity
LA 有四個點, 請教各位知道哪一個是可以快速來回 ? or 請介紹一下有可能到得了的店. thanks

在 circuit city 的 store locator 有店的 map, 對我要從 LAX ( 機場 ) 出發 by Taxi 只是要估算時間好像不實際. LA 我等於沒去過.
Yahoo Map 的出發地可以很簡單的指定為 LAX ( airport ), 用笨方式把４個 circuitcity 地址 stree address 輸入... Wow.. 都在 200 miles 以上的距離 :(
Maps on US 一時沒找到很好指定出發點為 LAX 的方式．

To my knowledge, there is no electronics store close to LAX. And, to be honest, it is unwise to spin around LAX since it is not easy for you to find a Cab (Taxi) once you leave LAX. Unlike Taipei where you can always get a Cab, people in Los Angels always drive their own vehicles. If you insit to take Cab, you would probably need to ask the Cab waitting for you while you are shopping at the electronics store. In such case, you are talking about a BIG money. You would probably end up spending up to 200 dollars (Yes, US dolloar) just for the Cab expense.
If you have more than 10 hours, I would provide you with some information regarding where you can go for electronics shopping. 4-5 hours time segement is really insufficient.

Don't plan on leaving LAX unless you are stopping for at least 1/2 day. The traffic around LAX is the worst in all of West Coast US. If you arrive during peak hours, you will spend at least 2 - 3 hours in traffic to get to anywhere in the area. This includes UCLA.
The cost for a Taxi in the US is at least 10X that of Taiwan. So I would suggest renting a car for even short days. It will be cheaper than taking a Taxi, and gives you so much more flexibility. If you need a GPS to take you around LA, rent from Hertz, even though they are the most expensive, they are the only ones to provide on board GPS by request. If you want to save money and dont mind using a regular map, I would suggest renting from Dollar, they probably have the cheapest rental rate.

沒錯 租車可能比 搭計程車來的便宜 最便宜的租一天加保險$50內就可以搞定
如果不想自己開車的話 也可找旅行社問問看 LAX有很多華人接機的 很多跟台灣旅行社有合作 也許可以問到便宜的價錢...
