小弟遇到一個東西...
Pair Gains System
有誰知道或可以用中文幫我大概解釋一下這個是什麼碗糕?煩請盡量淺顯易懂!
功用...以及對我的影響...
好像是和別人從電信交換機房共用銅線......
電話線因為有這個因素讓我不能安裝ADSL....ISP告訴我必須要移除它!

A pair-gains system is a digital switch that allows a large number of people to share a limited number of lines. It is not physically possible to connect ADSL through a pair gains switch because the "pair" is constantly switching and the digital switching method conflicts with the ADSL signal.(專自UQconnect-FAQ)

基本上是說...這個系統(Pair-gains System)是一個數位轉換系統,

可以讓大量的人分享有限的電話線.所以實際上是不可能拿來接ADSL的.

因為這些分享的線是一直再轉換的,這樣的數位轉換方法跟ADSL的訊號是會有衝突的.
