Macau permanent and non-permanent residents will get another cash handout from the Government this year and it will be same amount as last year, Radio Macau reported yesterday.
Last year, Macau permanent residents received MOP 6,000 and non-permanent residents MOP 3,600 in a scheme which cost the government MOP 3.12 billion.
The scheme was launched in 2008 so that people could share the benefits of the SAR’s economic development. That year, permanent residents got MOP 5,000 and non-permanent residents MOP 3,000.
