Singer Kangta and girl group f(x) were recently chosen to become ambassadors for World Citizen Day!
World Citizen Day is a day dedicated to interactions between citizens and foreigners. In efforts to create unity among all, World Citizen Day hopes to connect people of all nationalities together and create harmonious friendships.
f(x), being a highly diverse group, was the perfect choice to become model ambassadors. Leader Victoria is of Chinese descent, while Amber is Taiwanese and was born in America. Krystal, although of Korean descent, was also born in America.
At the World Citizen Day Walk Conference, Victoria spoke on behalf of the group and said, 「We are very thankful for this opportunity. We will work hard to spread the message of World Citizen Day.」

Yup, it's out! The five lovely ladies of f(x) recently teased us with their new song NU ABO, and a couple days ago, the full mini-album was released on various music sites. Their title track, NU ABO, quickly climbed the music charts, and there has been much anticipation for the unveiling of the full MV!

We reported earlier that Afterschool's ex-member Soyoung will be coming back as a singer under Professional Entertainment, but it looks like that was just a hoax.
Although Professional Entertainment stated on the 3rd that they had signed a contract with her, Soyoung denied such statements the very next day. On May 4th, she signed onto her minihompy and wrote, 「As I was going home from school, I received a call. I found out that my name and an entertainment company's name were the most searched [terms on the internet] and that I had a contract that not even I had heard about.」
She then questioned the validity of such a statement, saying, 「At the moment, I am not signed under [any] entertainment company. Because I'm so busy with school, I don't have time to do anything else.」
Additionally, Soyoung wondered where such promises of her comeback could have sprouted from. She speculated and considered the possibility of 「a different Yoo Soyoung」 out there, thus explaining how such a mix-up could have occurred.
Such denials will certainly crush the feelings of many of her past fans, but no worries! It's always better to have your idol safe above all else, right?

After School's leader Park Kahi left viewers intrigued after hinting that she once dated a male celebrity prior to her debut.
On May 4th's broadcast of SBS Strong Heart, Kahi said, 「It's the time to start thinking about marriage, but how do I date?「, to which she confessed, 「I've never dated after my debut. Wearing a mask, hat, and sunglasses, I've met in secret before my debut」.
One of the show's guests, Lee Chaeyoung, then made light of the situation by asking, 「If this was before your debut, why did you have to cover your face? Are you trying to say that you were meeting with a celebrity?」 Kahi was caught off-guard, but did not deny Chaeyoung's statement, raising interest in Kahi's ex-boyfriend.
Among other guests in Strong Heart include Epik High's Tablo and Mithra Jin, Lee Taegoon, Super Junior's Kim Heechul, Rain, T-ara's Jiyeon and Hyomin, and MBLAQ's Jiwoo.
