Actress Moon Geunyoung is to take a break after contracting Hepatitis A, and will have to halt her activities.
Moon Geunyoung, who is the lead role in the upcoming drama KBS 「Cinderella's Sister」, has ceased taking part in shooting for the series. She is now trying to recover from being infected by Hepatitis A, a disease which attacks the liver, commonly caused by drinking or eating contaminated food.
However, this will not affect the premiere airing on March 31st as she is believe to return to the set in a couple of days.
The actress first received attention when she appeared as a younger version of the female lead in the popular drama 「Autumn Tale」 in 2000. She then gained more popularity ever since, coming back with the hit horror film 「A Tale of Two Sisters」, success continuing from there, including roles in 「My Little Bride」 (2004) and 「The Painter of the Wind」 (2008).
The drama that she is currently filming, 「Cinderella's Sister」, also stars Chun Jungmyeong, Seo Woo and Ok Taecyeon. Let's hope Moon Geunyoung gets well soon, so she can act again soon!
T-ara does a 『crazy』 jump to the top
Girl group, T-ara, has leaped to the top of the Mnet's singles chart last week with their title track I Go Crazy Because of You.
Their track took a huge steep from being at 7th place to 1st during the first week of March. The girls not only dominated Mnet, but have also taken over Soribada, Dosirak and Monkey3
The girl's win has bumped KARA's Lupin and 2AM's I Can't Let You Go Even If I Die down a notch to second and third place consecutively.
T-ara also took second and third of 『bestselling record of the week』 with their repackaged album, Breaking Heart, and Absolute First Album, sequentially.
