San Francisco bay area has just two counties on the watch list, Santa Clara and Contra Costa counties. San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin counties are doing fine. A bit south, Santa Cruz and Monterey counties are also fine. Eastward, Solano county is on the watch list, as well as central valley, and Sacramento county are all on the doing bad list. The worst by far is Los Angeles county, which accounts for roughly about 1/2 of California recent new cases. It's a stunning percentage of cases. What's worse, yesterday, it was reported the positive Covid19 test result is over 10% now. California's overall positive test result is still < 10% but creeping up.
If your relative is in Santa Clara or Contra Costa county, they be careful. If they're in the other counties, it's in better shape.
