真的是積極的人找方法, 消極的人找裡由...

比較起3年前入社會的時候 (第一次離鄉背景, 自己打理衣食住行 + 無父母金援; 之前的只能算打工罷了), 小弟不才, 薪水才漲了近2倍

想起當初第一份工作...錢, 算不少, 事, 很簡單, 因人與環境的影響, 當初的衝勁沒多久便剩下零

兩年前狠下心放棄如公務員的工作內容與薪水, 接受了現在這個公司當初開出的低價薪水...

很慶幸當初選擇離開, 雖然過程很辛苦, 比較起那時的ex-同事, 大家晚上吃完飯早早就在魔獸世界集合, 70等攻頂好幾隻...我往往是10點才從辦公室熄燈離開, 回家繼續看資料準備隔天的會議

2年過後的2008, 準備升遷, 年初加薪5位數, package近百 (跟01魔人比還是很見笑啦

)...偶有機會碰到昔日的舊同事...恩, 很好...大部分都還是一個樣, 死薪水, 加個幾百然後怨言百出...

機會是留給準備好的人, 重要的是, 不是看到機會了才來準備, 那時候你已經被人家踩過頭去了
能在不景氣環境下仍然往上爬的人, 在環境好的時候, 他們只有爬得比別人快, 到時候難不成來埋怨被人迎頭趕過嗎

I have no doubt about what you've said
I am not that good but I try hard
and I still believe you must be someone who is excellent and brilliant
and can compose some phenomenal literature in university standard

in fact, I'm going to take your reply as a compliment ^++^

I wouldn't say that I'm all "excellent and brilliant" but I did, however, graduate from a provincial university with an honours degree and had completed a 200-page thesis with the help of two follow students.

Plus, I have held countless workshops, discussion panels and events and consider myself a native english speaker....so...shrugz

go and look-up old threads that i have participated to in the past. There were times where I didn't have access to a computer with Chinese input and had to reply in English

feel free to pm if you ever need help with English, ha...few of my friends who are taking correspondences sought me out as a "walking dictionary/theasaurus"

let's get back to the original thread, shall we?

i didn't mean to start a campaign here
,neither did i mean to complain

i've said i believe you are such a brilliant guy
based on what you've said
and the reason why you can get a double pay
still your experience is a good demonstration to inspire people
who is like me
i am glad to have the chance to learn some from you
in this economic issue due to my lack of wisedom and prospect

but i've got a question here
is that "theasaurus" or "thesaurus" ?
i ain't sure about that
could i beg for an explanation

and being back to the original issue
i gotta say if everyone have done what we are doing here
i mean to argue with some valuable issues
we are gonna have a better life !

you are correct, my apologies, it's thesaurus; guess that defeats the claim that I was a walking dictionary

getting back on the original post~

kudos to those who've express words of encouragement (dont count mine, it was more of a ventting-post) and you are absolutely right about learning from accomplished individuals

though, better life or not, I believe it's more important to take joy and pride in your work. Becoming successful in what you do is just a by-product of such a healthy mindset

the majority of the population often get lost when they try to quantify success; with their bank statements, what cars they drive, which geo they live in, how many estates they own...etc. More often than not, these so called values become burdens to those who are fighting to get to the top.

anywayz, i'm starting to stray from the original post again

People from all walks of life visit Mobile01 and I'm pretty certain there isn't a single universal rule that applies to becoming successful, and ultimately, out-last this wave of economic downfall.

Though, the lesson to take away, as many have already sated, is to suck it up and be proactive. Success is earned, not given...共勉之

與版主有同感....
我住天母二十多年...
但天母西路一堆商店貼"租"卻是我前所未見...
我在蘇州也有大陸的幹部....
當他們用流利的英語與西班牙客戶 con-call而一個月卻只領 RMB: 3,500(台幣約 : 15,000),我不禁想我的
value在哪裡 ? 外國的客戶以後為啥還要找台灣人代工?

我不想離鄉背景到外地工作,但現實的環境卻讓我有無力感.....
那種感覺很差....為何台灣的人民不爭氣.....
我們為何不能同心協力為台灣的發展拼出一片天..... orz
