遠足很少有人用 outing 這個字. 一般是用 field trip.
公司的活動或有有人用 outing. 不過 "function" 更正式.
如, It's a corporate function.

the outing 的 the 是發 "裡" 的音. 因為 outing 是母音開頭.

分享一則親身經歷的英文笑話.

剛到美國唸書的頭幾天. 我正在等公車. 一個長得很甜的洋妞走過來跟我微笑說聲 Hi. 我也回了個 Hi.
這是基本禮貌. 不值得興奮.

她看了我兩眼, 接著走過來問我 "Do you have time?".

老天. 這也太主動, 太大方了吧! 眞的是天上掉下來的禮物. 人家在問我有沒有空吔.

我天人交戰. 她是要刁我嗎? 這句話全是國一的單字, 難道還會有其他的意思嗎? 於是我臉紅心跳地回答 "Sure, I have time!". 腦子裏想的是下一步要怎麼行動. 去喝杯咖啡或逛逛街都行.

接著她有點吃驚地看著我, 等了幾秒鐘, 然後回了一句 "Never Mind!", 然後轉身走了.

這可真把我搞傻了. 到了學校第一件事就找一個老美國 (來美很久的老中) 問到底怎麼回事.

結果人家是問我現在幾點鐘.

我發誓, 用中譯英的頭腦來講這句話, 百分之百應該是 "Do you know what time it is?" 沒錯, 是有人這樣問. 但年輕一代的人大多會說 "Do you have the time?". 注意, 有一個 "the". 如果沒有 "the". 那真的是在問你有沒有空. 可是剛到美國的人, 哪會知道這種區別? 就算知道, 老美說那麼快, 也不可能注意到有沒有那個 the.

下次有老美問你有沒有空, 先把話倒帶, 仔細想想對方問的是 time 還是 "the time".

中翻英不用硬是要把每一個字都翻過去，表達出意思即可。例如你其實可以這麼說

應該就可以很完整的表達你想說的東西。

"你可以想成"不一定要加到句子裡去，但是如果硬要加的話

You can think of Unlimited Mode as having the IP Source Guard Disabled.

或

You can regard Unlimited Mode as having the IP Source Guard Disabled.

我想也是可以的

drip 這個字可有可無

不是很確定這兩個說法對不對，看板上的先進有無其他看法吧

put on好像不太對，應該是put in
