光就"設定準時打開的門"這幾個字不看上下文來說，門是主詞，其餘的是形容這個門的子句，所以: a door (which is 可被省略) set to open on time.
但通常很少單獨這樣講。 如:
你知道這門是否被設定準時打開嗎?
Do you know if this door is (is 不可省略，跟上面不同) set to open on time?
這房間裡的三道門只有一道是被設定準時打開。
Of the 3 doors in the room, only 1 is(同上句，is 不可省略) set to open on time.

切記這裡的 year 不能加複數 S. 因為它做形容詞用, 不是名詞.

3 跟 year 應該是要加個 "-" (3-year warranty) 才是正式一點的用法吧？不然 year 應該還是被當名詞結果還是要加 s，但同一個句子或子句能不能兩個以上名詞共存我不確定，但加上 preposition or conjunction 應該是可以的，下面是朗文字典有關 year 的型態：

year 有形容詞型態，查了一下只有朗文有介紹到，連 Dictionary.com 都沒介紹，更別說 Yahoo 字典(Dr. eye 基礎)，大概連老美也搞不清楚。
