理面就有很多單元都不錯。我覺得 6 minutes English 還有 Grammar Challenge 這兩個單元還蠻適合剛剛開始收聽英文廣播的人,因為內容不會太困難,速度也OK。不過要習慣英國腔就是哩~
另外如果想聽聽看比較美式的英文的話,可以聽聽看Scientific American 的 60-second系列

速度比較快,但是內容很短,也都有文章可以對照
另外Podcast上面也有其他的內容比較長的單元可以聽,例如:stuff you should know...之類的

itunes 有很多英文的 podcast 可以下載,另外還有 iTunes U,有美國一些名校上課的錄影,挑跟自己所學相關的來看。
另外聽FM頻道,我要提建議的不是頻道的種類,而是聽的方法。我出國前一年固定用收音機鬧鐘調好ICRT頻道跟時間,提早半個小時,利用那半個小時賴床迷迷糊糊時候聽,不要管聽到什麼,然後真的起床時間到了用另一個鬧鐘大聲地吵醒自己。這個不是要練聽單字,是讓你無意識中習慣英文句子的抑揚頓挫。當年對考托福聽力很有幫助,因為句子裡的每一個字都可以聽的很清楚。以前聽力總是不好,只能努力抓重點字,後來睡眠學習法用了快半年,突然有一天做練習時,每個句子裡的字都變得很清晰,連音,氣音,都很清楚,一時還無法相信自己的耳朵哩!
其實對英文聽講幫助最大的,除了人到國外去住之外,看電視很有幫助(因為很多劇集很好看啊!)。找喜歡的美國影集,可以去買DVD,可以隨時開關字幕。一開始開字幕,看久了練習關掉字幕。看完一季影集,跟人對話時應該就會比較容易聽懂對方的連音,自己有時也會突然變得很流利。一開始找一些比較popular的影集,像是smallville,supernatural,裡面的對話都很簡單,可以說是沒有生字(對台灣學生而言)而且也還蠻好看的。如果平時有在看國內連續劇或八點檔之類的,Don't,把時間拿來看美國影集比較有幫助,台灣的電視戲劇實在沒有什麼好看的。
