You are absolutely right. I knew that, just couldn't hold myself to copycat one of my friend : he did this always, LAX/UCLA ( library ) &/or circuit city ... we r both stupid persons :)

No, there is only 4-5 hrs gap in LAX for my trip to TX. Twice, of course ... geez.. I hate transit..

Gambling on buying a gadget at a foreign country with your limited-time fly transition may not be wise. And, to be honest, most of the good 3C products are made in Taiwan. Why not just buy it directly at Taiwan that will give you a full warranty covered.
