簡單白話說，我的解讀是：這是個他愛她，她卻不愛他的故事，男方感嘆能完成許多常人無法完成的艱難挑戰之事，獨獨無法讓女方投入感情。
Making Love不一定要翻成那檔事兒， "out of"是"出自於"，"Making Love out of nothing at all" => 女方沒有投入真心的虛假愛情。

這樣想似乎比較合乎整個歌詞情境。（突然讓我想起報紙大.....）
妙的是，這首歌常常被一些男女朋友當作情歌來聽，在廣播上互點給對方聽........
