小弟覺得
逐字來理解這幾個脫離背景的單詞組合的話，動詞只有waste--把waste理解成動詞才合理。是浪費瓦斯的意思。 ^++^

言外之意：大汽車用瓦斯做燃料，但是大汽車不是那麼fuel efficient.

如果寫成large car's/cars' waste gas 可以做新聞標題，但不是一個完整的句子，完整句子要有動詞 ^++^

如果是想表達後者，要講給別人聽，想要消除歧義，可以寫成the emission of large cars' waste gas。 ^++^

大型車輛比較耗油

"eats more gas" 照字面翻譯來就是"吃比較多油"

可以通喔!(gas在這邊是只"汽油"的意思)
