Zafira Tourer將會有新的1.6升柴油引擎於日內瓦車展發表。
最大輸出功率為100千瓦（136馬力），最大輸出扭力則是320牛頓‧米。
可望取代原先的1.7升全系列和2.0升非雙渦輪的版本。
新引擎之可以達到性能和油耗環保的平衡乃肇因於新的Closed-loop combustion control封閉迴路燃燒控制和BlueInjection SCR (selective catalytic reduction)系統來降低排汙。
油耗表現為4.1 L/100 km，代價是109 g/km的二氧化碳排放量。
性能表現，搭載本引擎的ZA-C安全極速為193km/h。

Opel/Vauxhall continues updating and upgrading its engine lineup by introducing a new four-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine. this 1.6 liter unit belongs to the CDTI ECOTEC family, and replaces the 1.7 liter and certain 2.0 liter engines in the range.
This Euro6 engine will be available in a variety of power outputs depending on what car it is going into. The base is 136PS and 320Nm, which means more powerful versions could potentially go up to 200Ps and maybe beyond.
Features of the new powertain include closed-loop combustion control and an aluminium block. It has an innovative engine control unit developed by Opel, which caters to the NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) standard. It also fulfills the requirements regarding torque output and low fuel consumption.
