我從沒有預感到國人對自己文化分支的理解能如此的淺薄，當人們談到骷髏與頭骨，基本都會認為是國外的，其實在很久以前，中國人的祖先就已經用各種骨骼創造藝術品，在戰爭中獲取敵人首級以獲得相應的封賞。首級作為戰利品，現在看來是一件殘酷的事情，而在古時的勝利者，卻是引以為驕傲的。有些骨骼被製作和雕刻成各種工藝品佩戴和懸掛在自己的身上或戰馬上。這是對一個戰士榮譽與信心的表現。
I have never thought that ourselves are so shallow understanding on our own culture , when people talk about skull or skeletons, all believe that they are come from abroad, the truth actually is, our ancestor has been using these skeletons on all sort of creative art works thousands years ago. As we all knew, that one typical top achievement of a solider is to cut enemy leader’s head. The skull as a prize , to us ,seems a very cruel thing to believe, but at that time, it is very proud thing to do. And even some skull or skeleton were made into different kinds of pendants or other type of ark works to show the honor and confidence of a solider.

You may or may not know, nay of the deities of Tibetan Buddhism, including Mahasiddhas, Dakinis and Dharmapalas are depicted as carrying Kapala.
