台灣浴室格局通常只有一坪左右，因此動線在規劃上就要格外細心的分配好。主要可以分類為’乾區’以及’濕區’，乾區以非淋浴空間像是馬桶和面盆，台灣習慣把洗衣機放在陽台，而有些國家會把洗衣機放置在浴室乾區方便洗滌。而濕區則以浴缸或是淋雨拉門作為兩邊的區隔。像是美國、澳洲，有些甚至會將乾區和濕區分離的很徹底，完全獨立在兩個不同空間，也是一種格局規劃的方式。
而如果浴室空間較大可以規劃更多區域，可以分成沐浴區、洗漱區、如廁區跟洗衣區，讓家庭成員各自有不同需求時，都有空間可以使用，也是可以考量的方式。

The layout of bathrooms in Taiwan is usually only about one ping(35.58sqft), so the moving route must be carefully planned. It can be mainly classified into 'dry area' and 'wet area'. Non-shower spaces in the dry area are like toilets and washbasin. Taiwan is used to place washing machines on the balcony, while some countries put washing machines in the bathroom's dry area for easy washing. The wet area is separated by a bathtub or a rain shower. In the United States and Australia, some even place dry and wet areas completely separated and completely independent in two different spaces, which is also a way of layout planning.
If more space can be planned for the bathroom, the bathing area, washing area, toilet area, and laundry area can completely independent in different spaces but still in the bathroom, so that when family members have different needs, they have space to use, which is also a way to consider.
