费城联储主席哈克(Patrick Harker)周一在美国圣迭戈称,他可能会在3月的美联储会议上支持加息。
他称,依旧支持年内加息三次,但这取决于经济如何发展,以及政治和财政政策如何发展。三月有加息的潜在可能,但需要看到进一步的GDP增长和劳动力市场改善。
他补充道,不仅需要看到就业数量的上升,也需要看到薪资和收入的增长,因为后两者最终可推升通胀。
自金融危机以来,美联储只采取了两次行动。目前大部分美联储高官均同意年内加息三次,不过很多华尔街银行和利率期货交易员预计美联储今年只会加息两次。哈克目前是今年美联储10位拥有投票权的官员之一。自2015年成为费城联储主席,哈克今年成为美联储票委。
哈克称,我不认为我们滞后于收益率曲线,但我希望保证我们不会滞后于收益率曲线。
哈克未针对特朗普的移民禁令作出具体评价,但是他称,总体而言,移民将可促进经济增长,移民限制可能会使部分公司在海外雇佣。
针对特朗普放松金融监管并缩减多德弗兰克法案,哈克则称法案曾为维护金融稳定作出贡献,作出改变时应进行充分考虑。
