I plan to build a home theater in a 11 x 13 fts room. Here is the items I plan to use:
Receiver: Yamaha RX-V665
Speaker: JBL CS6100BG (5.1 package for surround)
JBL CST55 (main speaker)
TV: VIZIO the new 55 ins LED TV
BR player: Pioneer BPP-51FD
Cable (HDMI & Speaker) - All Monster
You comments and advises are welcome.
I may consder using a Sony 50-55 ins LCD 120Hz TV instead of VIZIO. Howeer, the new VIZIO is a LED with 240HZ but I never use VIZIO before. I have a Sony 40 ins 720P at the moment.
My other choice is ONKIO TX-SR607 with Energy speaker plus Sony DR player. I have PS# but PS3 does not support HD streaming
Sony price their TV quite aggressively in the US, a 52inch new model often go well below $2000 USD. I see no reason to choose Visio over Sony.
Your room is pretty small, a good 5.1 setup is always better than an average 7.1 system. there are lots good choices besides JBL.
same for receiver choices, lots good choices besides Yamaha.

Cable: 200.00 (I can get some good price on eBay)
BR Player: 400.00
I found any other AV amp I like better is Pioneer VSX 1019. As my room is small I don't need a high power amp but prefer a 7.1 with less power.
Is my room too small for projector or this is not a good time to buy a full HD projector?
As I have other items I want for other rooms, I have a limited budget. These are the items I am looking for:
Living room:
I have a 40 ins Sony LCD 720P. I want to put a Karaoke amp or just the mixer plus my existing Yamaha two channels amp, bookshelf Infiniite speakers, existing Phillip DVD player. I know very little about Karaoke amp. Any suggestion?
Master Bed room:
I need a TV 47-55 ins. Budget is from 1000.00-1500.00
a surround sound bar budget from 300.00-500.00
a BR player budget 300.00 Sony is the prefer one.
You suggestion is very much appreciated.
