I bought a N-50 too, but have a problem hope you guys can help...
After connected the N-50 to ethernet, I found all the upnp/dlna controller apps (e.g. plugplay, upnplay, twonky, etc) on iphone or android mobile/tablet could no longer detects the DLNA server on my QNAP NAS.... That means I have no choice but use back Pioneer remote or its own app to control streaming music.
However, I think all you N-50 owners know.... the N-50 LCD is too small to see when you listen to music on safa 5-6 feets away from the N-50. and its own app is much poorer than most upnp app... It only show 4 lines a page, a bit delay when showing the album/songs (appear as unknown 1 sec!), and cannot display album arts...etc....
Simply disconnect the N-50, those apps can find the DLNA server at once... so it seems like the N-50 locks the DLNA server and block other clients to use the server.... Does anyone meet this problem before? If yes, can you share how to resolve it?
This problem does not happen on my previous CAS setup
