First, try the soft reset. Simply unplug the receiver from the wall outlet for about 10 minutes. Re-plug back in and start-up the receiver.
The the above doesn't work, do a network reset. Switch OFF the SR7009. Simultaneously press/hold the MOVIE+MUSIC buttons on the front panel and then press the ON/STANDBY button on the front panel.
If the network reset doesn't work, the final one to try is resetting to factory default as listed on page 299 of owner's manual. jdsmoothie recommends to do this 4-5 times to be sure. This will wipe out all your settings, so you'll have to go through the setup again.
