If you can buy a Contour suggest you just go for it as Contour 1.1 is not always available in the mkt. for the Amp you can use what you have right now and save money to by more powerful amp. I have Contour, Audience ,DM, XEO they are all good speakers but finding the true potential of 1.1 has more fun.
