說視訊音效是：BD player > PS3 >PC，在以前的確是這樣的，但目前看起來PC對BD的音效問題已經有解決方案了，ASUS最近與ArcSoft及C-Media合作推出了Xonar HDAV1.3 藍光影音卡，不僅可以透過HDMI直接bitstream輸出藍光次世代音訊到擴大機，這是PS3及有些低價播放機目前做不到的。它也可以直接lossless解碼以24bit/192KHz TI 1796 DAC從類比RCA接頭輸出音訊。從規格用料來看，其類比音質可能還勝過一般藍光播放機或AVR內部的DAC輸出品質。視訊部分，只要PC硬體配備夠強，CPU夠快或顯卡夠好，在PC上從HDMI 1.3輸出高畫質影像也不會是問題，華碩的這張卡好像也提供Video upscaling及enhancement功能，國外玩家好像也對這樣支援藍光的PC AV solution很關注，畢竟PC的發展彈性很大及功能最強，使用者也多，唯就是初期相容性問題可能多少會有一些需要時間解決，僅供大家參考。

In the US, i think most people will still use blue-ray stand alone player to watch movie. You can get a Sony S350 for $200 and lower. I don't think you can have a computer at that price.
Stand alone player is the way to go... Computer has been able to play dvd for a while. how many people are using a computer to watch DVD in living room?

Blur-ray Player 也差不多 200 USD.
我想玩的game 大概也只有 GT5 & Metal Gear 4 = 不常玩遊戲. 可以說如果沒有PS3不玩也沒關西

1. 5.1 聲道 新型的PS3 有decode Dolby HD 嗎? (主機是 harmon Kardon AVR510 只有 optical or Coaxical)
2. 新型的 PS3 可以玩PS2 Metal Gear 嗎?
3. 畫質不是說比一般Blu-ray player 好, 旦現在怎麼好像是說比較差?
4. Metal Gear 4 有可能在 Xbox 發行嗎? haha
