I drove a 2019 ES300h

Yes. I drove a 2019 ES300h. The car is still in my garage when I'm writing this.

The first impression is very quiet but also very soft. (suspension)

ES300h is softer than my wife's 2010 M35X. So M35X is definitely more fun even though it's almost 10 year old and 80K kms.

ES300h's steering feel is OK but not as solid as my GSF. I think G35S and M35Xs' steering is still better than ES300h's but G35S and M35Xs' steering is also firmer.

I also think M35X is more stable than ES300h. My daughter didn't like ES300h ride. It's very comfortable but it also let her get car sick!?!

ES300h is quieter and softer than GSF, G35S, M35X.

The sound system in ES300h is not Mark Levinson. So it's OK but my G35S, M35X's Bose system is better and GSF's Mark Levinson system is MUCH better.

If you want me to make a choice on M35X and ES300h, I think I would go with OLD M35X because M is more fun and faster except I want to save money on gas.

The below is some pictures. I took them when it's in my garage...

I also did 0-96 km/h test at the same location. It's 7.73.
I just drove my GSF back. The first impression is transmission. CVT in ES300h was very smooth and smoother than my GSF. The second was throttle. I have to be more gentle on throttle in my GSF. Otherwise the traction control light will keep flashing...
The below is some pictures for interior. As you can see in the third picture this ES300h is very new and its mileage is less than 350 kms...

I think ES300h is still good. At least its handling is much better than my previous 2000 Maxima with stock suspension. (Japanese cars are getting better and better)

As I mentioned before, when my wife changed from Maxima(with Koni shocks and H&R springs) to M35X(stock suspension) 9 years ago. She said M35X was unstable and difficult to drive. (Even I ask her the same question today. She still says Maxima is better) So I think those European dampers are just like Nissan VQ engines. They are NO JOKE!?!

Today I drove my wife's M35X again. I think I'm wrong. ES300h steering is much BETTER.

Sorry. I change my mind. ES300h steering has more feel, sharper and more confident. But I still think M35X is a little bit more stable. However ES300h is much more comfortable and also more quiet than M35X...
I just drove G35S this morning. I confirmed G's steering is almost as good as ES300h (that's why I keep loving G so much) but ES's steering is still a little bit sharper (considering ES is so new. It's reasonable)

So I think my old G is quite good for 12 year old and 190K km car since all the parts are still original except Bilstein PSS10 (over 2 year old), Eibach sway bars (7 year old) and two Ultra Racing chasis braces in the rear (4 year old).

Again I would like to mention Bilstein PSS10 does improve steering feel a lot besides better handling and more stable ride. And that's why my wife complaint "M35X was not stable and difficult to drive" when she changed from 2000 Maxima(KONI yellow + H&R srpings) to 2010 M35X(OEM suspension) 9 years ago...

Of course ES is MUCH MUCH more comfortable than my G.
Don't get me wrong. My G ride is still reasonable and OK. With that kind of performance I think Bilstein dampers do a excellent job to keep my G ride reasonable comfortable...
ES300h does let my wife's M35X feel old now because ES300h is a soft family sedan. I'm not sure about its handling but ES300h is more comfortable, quiet and better steering than old M35X.

One thing which I don't really like in ES300h is nose diving when braking. Sometimes I feel uncomfortable on it. Most of time M35X have minimum nose diving in braking but ES300h has node diving even with light braking. (Of course G35S and GSF have virtually NO nose diving when hard braking) I think F sport package in ES may fix it but F sport package will reduce ride comfort and increase road noise... (That's why ES300h is MUCH quieter than my GSF on highway1?! )
