2013 GS F Sport 美國要召回了
不知台灣何時會發佈這個消息
台灣召回跟美國會同步嗎?
Lexus is issuing a voluntary recall of its 2013 GS 350 F Sport sedan. The recall only affects 350s with rear-wheel drive; the all-wheel version of the 350 F Sport is not included.
According to Lexus, the recall stems from a flaw in the vehicle's variable gear ratio steering, or VGRS. In some instances the electronic control unit (ECU) associated with the VGRS may not calibrate properly, which could result in some fairly serious steering problems for drivers. In Lexus' own words:
"On certain early 2013 model year GS 350 F-Sport RWD vehicles, the ECU for the VGRS system could cause the steering wheel to become off-centered when restarting the vehicle immediately after the vehicle is parked with the steering wheel turned."
Lexus says that it will begin mailing out notices of the recall very soon, and owners should receive those notices in early June. At that time, they'll be able to take their GS 350 to an authorized dealer, who will update the VGRS ECU calibration, free of charge. Lexus estimates that the repair will take about 30 minutes (depending on the dealer's schedule, of course).
