今天在網路上看到infiniti Q50的車子試駕

印象infiniti和volvo一樣，在主動安全上也很用心
自動剎車，acc智慧跟車...配備豐富

但動力上似乎更吸引人
假設題
如果他有進2.0t的車型，主動安全也都有
價格如果差不多!
S60 T5和Q50 2.0T，大家會怎麼選啊!

The problem facing Japanese Premium Brand is the lack of efficient engine. Most of them are designed with USA market, where larger displacement V6 engine is norm. Lexus choose to put all their money into Hybrid and in many ways, successful. Infiniti on the other hand, is caught with engine choice issue for Taiwan. M25 is an example. Poor gas mileage in city driving, body too heavy etc. M35 or G37 - you are wasting your money when you sell off your car as used. Aside from diesel engine, Japanese are way behind in small engine with turbo. Yes, it may not suit the USA market but in Asia and others, this is the kind of powerplant we need. Glad to see Lexus will bring out 2.0t but where is INFINITI? Even Nissan does not have such engine except keep replacing transmission with XCVT etc.
I am not saying their car is not good. I am saying the European, on in engine choice of Turbo Diesel and Turbo Petrol are eating the Japanese lunch.

Having said all that, I do think Infiniti cars look great. Only had wished their engine catch up with their beauty!
