各位前輩，小弟今天賞車時聽業務說到，
正2014出廠後的v60可能會在小改
（意指2000cc 動力或是變速系統）
且車價上調5.5萬，明年份v60 r design版
原廠報208.5萬，詳細規格他說車展才可能公佈，
請問有人知道這事嗎？有詳細規格嗎？

My Sales told me that the next shipment, due in Jan/Feb will increase price by NTD 55000. His information shows there is nothing major, no new transmission 8 speed, no new engine. Maybe because he is a Sales but I really respect him, the discount offer will be much smaller, typical in the beginning of the new 2014 year. I could have my V60 delivered in November but since sales quota control, Volvo Taoyuan purposely delayed it till December!
My understanding is the new engine and new transmission will only be available on the V60 by end of 2014. This could means the 2015 model with 2014 production. Volvo could be adjusting price now to reflect part of that cost increase, if any. It is a sales strategy but who knows, they may keep it the same price after this round of sales. In theory, 4 cyclinder diesel should be cheaper than current 5 cyclinder but 8 speed is definitel more expensive than current 6 speed. Anyway, I would not like to take that price increase, also more waiting time, and also be the first to test new engine and transmission, I worried about pre-mature failure and reliability.
For those who absolutely love to have new engine/transmission, you may have to wait longer and be prepared to pay more. Volvo discount usually get much better when it is mid year towards Q3. I get 170k off the list price on mine. Happy with that.
