To whom it may concern
Last year, my husband bought XC60 2011 and we are glad to have such a great vehicle to join our family. XC60 is really the best car for family use but unfortunately we are not able to show how good the car is to our parents. The control board is written in English and it is not easy to be used and understood by our aged parents. Thus I write this letter and would like to strongly recommend your esteemed company to use Traditional Chinese version control boards on Volvo vehicles which are sold to Taiwan.
Volvo is well known for the good quality and the thoughtful safety devices but it is pity that we can not use or enjoy all the items in Taiwan. For those who are not native English users, the English version control board is kind of block which makes us not able to have the quickest responses to all the situations (IT IS DANGEROUS.) Isn’t it also a pity for Volvo designers that the car drivers cannot use all these convenient equipments they provide? For the safety and convenient concerns, I hereby appeal to your esteemed company for offering Traditional Chinese version control boards on Volvo vehicles which are sold to Taiwan.
Before writing this email, we already talked with many Volvo vehicle owners in Taiwan through the Internet. It is not our personal opinions, this is what all the Taiwan Volvo owners’ watch for. With this little progress, we are willing to introduce this nice brand to more people and let more Taiwan people enjoy Volvo riding. And Volvo vehicles will be accepted by more generations here.
Thanks for reading this mail and looking for hear a positive response from you soon.
Wish you a nice weekend!

Volvo Global Customer Relations:
"I'm filing a formal complaint for NOT having local language, i.e. Traditional Chinese support of phone contacts in my Volvo XC60. I am forced to dial using my cell phone rather than Volvo's built-in Telephone Interface. Doing so can greatly lead to dangerous car accident, killing or injuring people lives.
Volvo should have fix the situation in the first place. A Volvo car lacks local language support should NEVER be sold in said country. If Volvo product is proved having a safety issue, my Government Commodity Safety Bureau will ban its sales in my country.
Volvo has been informed."

" Please seriously consider to offer Volvo owners the Traditional Chinese user interface for phonebook and music titles. Thanks. "
