According to Subaru's parent company, Fuji Heavy Industries, that defect could affect "the operation of the steering wheel mounted cruise or audio controls, the horn, gearshift paddles (if equipped) and possibly illuminate the airbag warning light." And unfortunately, once the airbag warning light is illuminated, the car's airbag system is disabled. None of those things are good.
二週前 (6∕7) Subaru 在美已宣佈要求 2010 Outback 及 Legacy 兩型車車主必須回車廠檢查 ABS 控制器蓋破裂問題, 洗車水有可能造成 ABS 短路, 但當時並無全面召回.
