buy a tactrix cable(V.2), dump the stock map, post it on romraider.com, wait for few weeks for the new definition of the map, and then mod it to stage 2+....
The stock ECU map is not very safe... it's too lean...at least for USDM...

Don't worry... with a fine tune, it will run healthier than your stock map, plus more hp/tq. Your car will love u...
The EJ25 engine/transmission/drivetrain can hold like up to 450+ crank hp without a problem(for ~'07, not sure '08+... should be the same). As long as u don't do something stupid like dump the clutch at 5000rpm, your car will run fine.
My car with stage 1 tune runs way better than stock map based on the datalogs... For conservative stage2(ECU tune + downpipe, no TMIC/Turbo/CAI/etc. involved), it will give you like 40~50+ whp/wtq. Your car can handle that.

Yeah, that's why I said someone should dump the stock Euro map via tactrix cable and put it in romraider.com. People from romraider.com will come out the definition of the Euro map and then you guys can just copy/paste the tables from USDM map to your own map by using romraider with some modification, if you know how to tune it. It's not that hard.
Edit: looks like someone has done it already: see here... You guys should buy a tactrix v2 cable and download romraider(for datalogging and editing map) and ecuflash(for flashing). Datalogging is good for your car and you can know how it runs even if you are running stock map. Very very useful in my opinion. Also you can find tons of useful information in romraider.com for tunning and datalogging. People there are very knowledgeable and willing to help you with any kind of questions.
