

Abstract
The analysis of scientific data including American and European scientific communities concerning use of ractopamine as a growth factor in food animal production and the argumentation of the maximum permitted levels of ractopamine and levels of ractopamine in meat and byproducts (offal) is carried out. The position of the Russian side stated at the Codex Alimentarius commission 35th session that acceptable ractopamine daily intake is insufficiently validated and cannot be used for the determination of maximum permitted levels of ractopamine in meat and byproducts (offal) is confirmed. It is represented that residual ractopamine intake together with food on the levels which are recommended by the Codex Alimentarius commission and by taking into account the levels of animal products consumption in Russian Federation will lead to unacceptable human health risk level that will promote increasing heart diseases and life expectancy reduction. In this connection Russia states against of acceptance of maximum permitted levels of ractopamine in food.

Abstract
The present study was carried out to assess feed additive ractopamine for endocrine disruption in zebrafish. Male zebrafish were exposed to three different doses of ractopamine i.e., 250 ppm, 350 ppm, 450 ppm for 21 days and were observed for behavourial alterations and on mating to unexposed female zebrafish, their embryos were observed for survival and development. It showed that ractopamine was capable of inducing behavioural alterations. There was also effect on male reproduction, which has caused significant reduction in survival and development of embryos over 21 days of exposure. The results demonstrated that ractopamine has the potential to disrupt endocrine system in zebrafish. Therefore, furthermore investigation is necessary in ractopamine production areas for residual content of this drug in water reservoirs for understanding its effects, on the future of animal kind and human kind.
利用斑馬魚實驗,發現萊克多巴胺會影響實驗動物的內分泌以及生殖系統的功能。斑馬魚與人類的基因相似度高達70%,且84%的人類疾病相關基因,都可以在斑馬魚基因上找到相對應的部分。所以,還是要注意含藥豬肉的人體累積影響。

因應明年1月1日萊劑肉品進口,為了避免流入學校午餐,中央下令學校午餐肉品登錄都要填寫「產地」,基層學校午餐秘書、營養師在群組內哀號;日復一日無限輪迴登錄,不要求源頭頭管理,只要求末端去稽核,但如果一直以為是國產,最後發現是進口的,「要把我們抓去關嗎」、「這些循環很瘋狂」,做這些文書工作表面功夫對食安毫無幫助。
營養師表示,縣市要求學校營養師要確認,營養師一個學期要確認上百件,就怕到時候以為是國產的產品,但最後其實是進口的,就跟蔬菜一樣,最後只能淪為「廠商自己貼」。

One of the world’s largest pork producers
JBS USA is one of these firms. It is based in the state of Colorado and sells pork under brands such as Swift and Swift Premium. It is owned by JBS-SA of Brazil, one of the world’s largest producers of pork, beef and chicken products.
The company had already removed ractopamine from its own production in August 2018, and is now prohibiting its contract farms from using it. JBS USA leaders told Reuters news agency that they are confident “this decision will provide long-term benefits to our producer partners and our industry by ensuring US pork products are able to compete fairly in the international marketplace.”
Tyson Foods banning ractopamine by 2020
Another of these firms, Arkansas-based Tyson Foods, will ban the use of ractopamine by its contract farmers by early February 2020. Its brands include Tyson, Jimmy Dean, Hillshire Farm, Sara Lee, Ball Park and State Fair.
Previously, Tyson and JBS both had a production line for domestic sales in which ractopamine was allowed in pig diets, and another without it for export to countries that have banned the substance.
