WHATCAR "The Citroen wafts along serenely thanks to its supple suspension. The soft set-up does cause the body to bob up and down on undulating roads, but the Picasso doesn’t get too out of shape through tight twists and turns. The steering is usefully light around town, and weights up reassuringly enough at speed – even though it doesn’t offer the same sense of connection you get from a Ford B-Max."
"Although the C3 Picasso is available as a diesel auto in France, only the 1.6 VTi petrol is available in the UK. Still this so called Prince engine, developed jointly between Citroen/Peugeot and BMW is a gem and can be found in almost every model and in the Mini Cooper where it is the engine of choice. Purchased new from Loughborough Citroen at a 30% discount,i'm really pleased. The list of extras and overall quality is probably unmatched and a recent 300 mile drive returned 44 mpg."
"So far My wife and I are extremely pleased with the car. It offers everything we need, all the toys except sat nav, that's an extra I don't need. We have only done 1600 miles so far the fuel consumption over this mileage has been 36.3 mpg, with 49.6 on the motorway on a 200 mile run. It is very comfortable, quiet there is not the wind noise spoken about in the What Car Review, perhaps the build quality has been adjusted."
CarMagazine "The Picasso never felt like a fish out of water on faster runs. The ride is slightly bobblier at high speeds, but most of the time is pillowy soft. I loved its floaty softness on my daily cross-country commute – I just found it a very relaxing place to be, the car gently yawing and pitching thanks to its compliant suspension."
TopGear "Without springing any major surprises, the C3 Picasso doesn’t adhere to the natural assumption you’ll make as soon as you see it – that it handles like it’s sitting on unbridled springs. In fact, it’s largely rather settled, mitigating potholes so that they don’t amplify into the cabin."
AutoExpress "The most striking aspect of the C3 Picasso driving experience is the refinement. Wind, road and engine noise are low, giving the Citroen a big car feel, particularly at motorway speeds. This impression is bolstered by the supple and composed ride, which soaks up even big bumps and potholes. On the other hand, the soft suspension set-up means the C3 Picasso suffers from body roll in the bends."
