I am so happy to read about the place where I grew up. My dad was in the Air Force. I was born in 新竹 and we moved to 岡山 when I was just two. I spent a good part of my youth there in both 健鷹村 and 致遠村until we moved to Taipei when I was 15. That was 40 years ago. There are only a few things you mentioned here I have some slight memory but I am all the same thrilled to see.
One thing I like to correct and one thing to add.
尹清楓 is not from 健鷹村 but from 致遠村. Their house was directly behind ours and he has a younger brother same age as I. I also played with 侯德健 in those days.
Also, There was another famous singer 包美聖 from 致遠村 but she got married and retired from music early.

神明看到應該會生氣吧！
個人也是信神的，但堅持只信不迷。
因為，看太多，假藉宗教騙財、騙色...
甚至從事宗教工作的人員為了宗教資產大打出手、仇殺血濺五步...
神明看到應該眼珠子都會掉下來吧！
這種東西講太多也不好，從自己作起吧！
希望一些台灣人自創的陋習可以慢慢廢掉囉！
在古代還沒鞭炮、沒冥紙的時候，難道沒有祭祀活動嗎？
後來發明的一些祭祀活動，真的是要敬神嗎？
藉機斂財佔大多數吧！
偏題了留得青山在、不怕沒車騎，該讓就讓、該慢就慢、該停就停。
Biking has changed. Nowadays, we talk about Shimano vs. Campy vs. SRAM, or we talk about carbon vs. aluminum vs. steel vs. titanium. We put a lot more focus on the fashion and the speed aspects of biking as if we are trying to prove something. We forgot that a bicycle is also such an artistic and elegant way of moving about, taking us farther and showing us more than what our pair of feet can do.
