A Brooks Saddle needs to be nose up, I've been ridding them for 40 years. One thing to keep in mind though. A B-17 is not a good choice for a road bike that's bars are lower than the saddle, it's designed for the bars to be even or just above the saddle. If you ride with your bars lower than the saddle you need to look at the Brooks Professional, Swallow, or Swift or comfort will not be had.
Remember with a Brooks, the smallest amount of adjustment make a huge difference, so go a little at a time. You will be very surprised at the position of the saddle when it's most comfortable (nose up).
Don't worry - when the nose is up, your pelvis will slide down it until it's cradled safely and comfortably by the wider rear part of the saddle. You'll want the rear part to be flat or almost flat for the most comfortable and stable platform.

very slight tilt up at the nose (maybe 5 degrees) works for me.
it varies from person to person, what works for me may not work for you.
perennial pressure isn't a good thing.
Brooks generally work best with the nose tilted up (because you want your weight shifted to the flat(ter) portion at the back. How much tilt depends on your bar/saddle drop, core strength, etc. As much as I like Brooks saddles, I like my Selle An-Atomica even better.
