it's really a superior design product by a British, Mark Sanders. Mark makes a folding bike becoming much easier to carry around. bro has Giant Halfway, so I can realize the advantage of strida right away. sure, strida has its weakness too. to me, mainly minus is single speed [thou 2-speed DS version is finally available here recently, but over-priced at $30000!
strida 5.0 is US$800, DS is US$1200 [50% more]. 5.0 is NT$15000 here, but DS jumps to double at NT$30000, not 50% more of NT$15000 at NT$22500 as I hope.] so have to give up the desire for DS strida.
TW maker just adds some cheap accessories on 5.0 to raise $5000 to become 5.1. I don't really feel those newly added on 5.1 are really worth $5000, probably only $1000 cost to maker.
worse is maker wants to make extra $5000 profit, but doesn't want to update manual to 5.1 version in Chinese. it still just uses 5.0 English manual, so I found many wrong descriptions.
like on p3/19, tire pressure is 40-65psi, but actually tire pressure is only 30-50psi, really low. on p4/5, folding pedal illustration is wrong, the 5.1 pedal is much easier/quicker to un/fold. on p11, tail light location and clip method isn't the one on 5.1. on p13, no # marks for those accessories, so buyer has to guess each item usage unless buyer knows what item it is for.
maker gives a SIMPLIFIED Chinese manual of disc brakes installation. why no TRADITIONAL Chinese?
maker gives an English guide of front light, but no tail light guide.
maker knows metal pipes have certain spots get scratches easily, so maker sells rubber covers to protect [$450]. since maker knows this is a must happen problem of strida, why not just makes such rubber covers as standard? I don't want to pay such none sense high price covers, so I just use stickers for scratch protection.
not sure if strida is still genuine made in TW?
or now becomes assembled in TW by using CN parts? 
anyway, I still like its unique design.

I don't want to dump such premium $ for rubber covers, so I use stickers. FYR, my scooters also have many stickers.....
even luggages are full of stickers. 
car only has a few stickers b/c dad doesn't like sedan looks like a Rally car.
bell is on right hand side but scooter is on left hand side [so I swapped it with front light], clock needles ain't so visible, under seat bag is really too tiny to hold locks,
no holes for water bottle holder,
but foldable paddles are much quicker/easier than 5.0 uses.
rear tire is bit flat b/c only 50psi max.
