CEEPO在今年2023年產品線做了些改變,就是最"秋"的Shadow/ Shadow R都一併不見了。其他是看起來重量都瘦身了不少,更往All Road靠近了些。
取而代之的是"NEW VIPER",號稱說吸收了歷屆以往的經驗而重新浴火重生開發出(因為第一代ceepo成立自行研發出的空力車也是VIPER" 反正就很類似G牌重新找回Cadex命名的一樣故事。
車子方面我就不多說了都很帥! 反正我又不是廠代,也沒有拿稿費。我重點不是來誇大其詞說車子有多好趕快去買!
只是乍看之下你不覺得"VIPER" & "KATANA"這兩支商品長得一樣嗎??!!
而且同樣在官網歸類在鐵人空力車,會有哪家公司這樣互打自己商品呀,
的確是霧沙沙,所以我順著大眾的意願,寫訊息去問了Ceepo公司。
官方的回覆其實蠻精闢的,我也才恍然大悟。
Ahoo Chen Here is the best we can do for a FB reply.The Viper and Katana don't make for a straightforward side by side comparison. Both share some CEEPO DNA with airfoil tube shapes, are based on triangle frame design, same BB and tire width (to 28mm). The best way to put is that the Viper and Katana are siblings, but the Viper has been the the gym more often than the Katana. The Viper has a few more muscles and features and is a little quicker and a little more aggressive.
So, the Viper is a slightly more muscular leveled up Katana. The Viper adds full cable integration. Viper also steepens the seat tube to increase aggressive positioning to our already "long and low" triathlon specific geometry; Where the seat tube angle on the Katana is 78.5 degrees, the Viper is 81.6. A reversible seat post (on both) adds to fit customization, but the Viper allows a more agressive position. The Viper has some aerodynamic features not on the Katana. Both share kammtail aero tube shapes, but the Viper rolls out the the ABT which shields the brake calipers behind a carbon fin to enhance airflow in those key areas. Both bikes are fast, but the Viper adds marginal gains with the aero features, aggressive positioning and hidden cables.Hope this helps.

總之我是想再多問那今年的KATANA跟之前的KATANA有什麼差別,但我怕會被打。

總之,以往推出的三角型產品線圖,我個人覺得這次是重疊的相當嚴重了。直覺就是一個高階KATANA跟一個舊KATANA呀!!!

最後來懷念一下創始人Joe老人家以及他最愛的Shadow R吧!!
明明停產了卻還是不斷的看到他跟愛車的身影。
找不到喜歡的車嗎,那就自己做一台出來呀! 大概就是Joe的精神。
